I have been having a great trip to Florida. I thought I would paste a few pictures. Our first two days were spent in Cocoa Beach, which is where the best surfing is in Florida. Big waves! We chose to stay there as it is the closest beach to Orlando and near the Kennedy Space Centre.
Our hotel, The Inn at Cocoa Beach, is where many astronauts and their families have stayed. It was so nice I can see why!
The Kennedy Space Centre was amazing. I want to watch the movie, Apollo 13 again now that I have been here. I was given lots of posters and materials that I have to go through to see what I can bring home to share with you!!! I am having problems uploading pictures so I will continue later!!!
A few more pictures from the Space Centre.

Those French presentations
I don't think I have laughed so long in a long time. I am not sure any of you are ready to appear on The Food Channel yet but it proved to be an entertaining morning! Here are a couple of pictures! I couldn't believe those girls trusted Pharman with the knife or the spoon!!
Harry had a very interesting way of cutting fruit!
Jamee is looking a bit sceptical. Of course this was the sandwich that was missing a bun but the
grade sevens seemed to have lots of extra
ingredients to lend fortunately!
Lubna also had an interesting way of cutting une orange!

Learning to tell stories...
We have had so much fun learning about storytelling with Naomi at the Moberly Arts Centre. Here are a few pictures of you warming up with Natalie.
Your clay creations
I am sorry I am so behind blogging but I promise to catch up. Phyllis sent me pictures of your first creations coming out of her kiln. Here they are!

More with Clay
We had a great time this Monday afternoon when Phyllis came and helped
you create your own projects as we wait for your masks to get fired in
her kiln. Here is good search site if you want more ideas about hand building and decorating.
Here are pictures from Monday. It's going to be very exciting when
Phyllis returns in a couple of weeks with your fired work!
Things are shaping up with Group 4
You can see Pharman's fountain pieces as Rajveer and Gursharn intently mold.
Group Six seems to be having fun. I think Hrithik has created his own trophy!
Artists at work!
Barry is creating a dinosaur?
A few of the finished products being taken away to the kiln
I can see some of these objects are very useful and have a valentine motif.
The final touches... What a great time we have had with Phyllis. Everyone really appreciates her artistry and kindness and patience and humour!
